SRC Recovery Shorts have been designed for use in the first 8-10 weeks after delivery but can be worn for as long as they provide benefit.
Begin wearing your SRC Recovery Shorts as soon as you feel able post delivery. It may take a few days for your SRC Recovery Shorts to feel fully comfortable because of fluid retention.
Wear your SRC Recovery Shorts for as many hours as you wish. Your SRC Recovery Shorts should feel supportive without any feeling of restriction. During pregnancy some women find that their ribs expand to accommodate the growing foetus. If so, the elastic at the top of the SRC Recovery Shorts may feel a little tight even though the garment is otherwise comfortable. This is easily resolved by putting the elastic on continuous gentle stretch for a number of hours. Please contact us at info@srcenterprises.com.au should you require further information.
SRC Recovery Shorts can be worn both day and night.
Alternate between your SRC Recovery Shorts and your SRC Sports Shorts as soon as you feel you no longer require as much upper abdominal support throughout the entire day and the swelling of the upper abdominal area has significantly reduced.
Wear both for as long as they provide comfort and support and continue wearing your SRC Sports Shorts when you return to regular exercise/sport. SRC Sports Shorts have been designed to allow you to comfortably return to exercise, all the while knowing that your pelvis, lower back and legs are supported.
It is important to note that your SRC Recovery Shorts will perform best when washed every 3 days. For continued support wear your SRC Sports Shorts during this time.
note: this product is not to be worn at any stage during your pregnancy
